The pair proved the difference in the match, Richie top-scoring with 83 in his side’s total of 142 before youngster Tyson ripped through the Gold Tigers lineup on his way to finishing with 5-29 from 5.2 overs.
The 13-run win sees RSL-Colts Coolbaggies remain in a share of top spot with Newtown Black on the third grade ladder.
Sam Green was valiant in the loss and claimed 4-36 before chiming in with a late 23 in the chase while Alex Orth also took 4-45 for Coolbaggie.
A John Byrne-inspired Souths Lemons scored its first win of the season when downing Rugby Blue by five wickets at John McGrath 2.
A strong bowling performance, led by Byrne (4-24), saw Rugby Blue restricted to 7-156.
Byrne then starred in the run chase, opening the batting and making a tough 80 not out as Souths Lemons reached the target with 2.5 overs to spare.
James Rootes (52) was the best for Rugby Blue.
Newtown Black downed RSL-Colts United in an intriguing low-scoring contest at John McGrath 1.
Don Skinner (3-10), Andy Gardiner (2-18) and Jack Pettit (2-25) helped roll United for just 97.
But the run chase wasn’t easy and things were in the balance with the Black Tigers at 5-47.
But Craig Pettit’s 29 helped Newtown Black win while Muhammad Salman took 3-20 in the loss.
Souths Limes moved up the table when downing Rugby Red by three wickets at Lady Cutler 1.
Ryan Maxwell was the only Rugby batsmen to fire, making 51 at the top of the order after his side was sent into bat.
Joe Crampton took 4-15 as Rugby Red was dismissed for 113.
Souths Limes had some late wobbles in the chase but still won relatively comfortably, with Sam McGrath’s 21 the top score.
Newtown White was convincing winners over RSL-Colts Paramount at Lady Cutler South C.
John Hausia (3-22) and Tye Webb (3-23) led the way as Colts was dismissed for 121, Mick Davis’ 29 the top score.
Chris Newbold made 40 at the top of the order to lead the way in the chase, his side going on to win by six wickets.
The other match saw CYMS Green defeat Macquarie, the Cougars chasing down thew Blues’ total of 8-135.
