In the hot climate we live in, we are surprised that shade isn’t a consideration when a park is built in Dubbo.
Should it be mandatory that shade sails are installed? Yes, it will mean a greater cost, but aren’t our children more important than the money?
It’s not the first time the Daily Liberal has reported on children burned when playing on parks in Dubbo. Just a few years ago another young child was sent to hospital after playing at the skate park in warmer weather.
Shade. It’s something that needs to be considered.
