The DRTCC is holding its annual season launch on November 25, where patrons will get their hands on the hot-off-the-press season booklet.
The 2019 program of shows will be kept a secret until the launch, but DRTCC acting manager David Brown said it will be a good day as it allows for the opportunity to see what shows will be touring next year.
“There are some great shows coming next year, every year is a little different, we try to vary it,” he said.
“There are shows that are coming here that otherwise wouldn't have been able to be staged in Dubbo without the theatre.”
Although the DRTCC has been catering for the central west community for nearly 10 years and the novelty of the theatre as a building may have worn off, the theatre experience is strongly supported and enjoyed throughout the community.
“I think people are coming to trust that the programming of our season is designed to have something for everyone, with a few surprises for good measure,” Mr Brown said.

Dubbo and surrounding audiences were treated to a wide variety of shows this year including various musicals such as Bosom Buddies, 9-5 the Musical and cabaret Exposing Edith.
There were six family and youth shows, plus comedy and classical piano concerts, Shakespeare and big band favourites.
The 2019 DRTCC season launch will be held at 1pm on November 25 and includes a great line-up of local talent, with food and wine available following the launch.
For those wanting to attend the cost is $25 and for 2018 subscribers admission is free.
