The 2WheelBabes is holding its annual Mega Babe Raid at Dubbo Showground, where they are also hoping to break their own world record for the most women at a female bike meet.
Other record attempts include most mothers and daughters at a female bike meet and the longest parade of Harley-Davidsons which currently stands at 2500.

Organiser Debb Geerts said the record for most women at a female bike meet was set in Dubbo in 2016. At the time 1002 women met at the Dubbo Showground.
“We had the ladies from the US try and beat us and they got 550 and we just had the UK try and beat us and they only got 600. We’re doing pretty well but we just want to make it a little bit harder for anyone else to have a crack,” Ms Greet said.
The record shouldn’t be hard to beat with Ms Geerts expecting between 3000 to 4500 riders and spectators to attend the Mega Babe Raid, which has taken 18 months of planning.
To make the record official, strict rules have to be followed, such as getting photos and video of everyone who enters the record, letters signed by Justices of the Peace and four different record counters.
The records won’t be set by Guinness World Records, but RecordSetter.
Two days of the event will be female exclusive.
“I started these in 2008 when there was nothing for women [motorcyclists] in Australia. Now there’s one other rally for women in Australia run by Sheilas Shakedown,” Ms Geerts said.
“So many rallies are male focused that we wanted to do something that is female-focused.
“It’s about empowering women. I can ride an 1800. We can do pretty much anything that the guys can do and it’s not to say we’re better, it just means we’re just as capable and we can still be feminine and womanly and all that as well.”
