Titan Macquarie Mud Run Committee member Rod Fardell said the bubbler project was a perfect opportunity to assist the community.
Mr Fardell said Sandy Beach was a hub of local recreation, with cyclists, walkers and Parkrun, so the bubbler will help provide an easier access to water, especially coming into the warmer months.
“It’ll definitely make a difference to the community,” he said.
One of the biggest aspects of starting the Mud Run five years ago was to not only create an event that could be identified locally, but money raised would go back in to the community, Mr Fardell said.
“Particularly recreational infrastructure that would assist the community in getting out and being more proactive, not only in their health, but enjoying our amazing surrounds,” he said.

Mark Coulton said the water bubbler will be a huge benefit to the community that use Sandy Beach.
“I think our communities are getting better at understanding the value of healthy activities and exercise,” he said.
“From the Mud Run to families down here on weekends with Parkrun. Just a little, tiny bit of help from the Government, support from the (Mud Run) committee, to Council… it’s a great result.
