Additional money was found in the September 2018 quarterly budget review.
Because of the extra money available, an additional $140,000 will go to the Rygate Park Court Reconstruction to renew the amenities and add lighting. More than $1 million has been allocated to the Rygate Park work to turn it into a multi-sport complex which will cater for up to 10 sports including futsal.
The Sister City 30th Anniversary visit has been allocated $85,790, while the Mumbil Hall Amenities project, to build a new toilet block, will be given $24,955 on top of the $50,000 in grant funding it’s already received.

Another $29,057 will go to defibrillators from money in the Councillors Discretionary Funding.
Money will also go to the Dubbo Aquatic Leisure Centre Master Plan.
Funding of $27,900 will be spent to develop a master plan for the pool which will look at constructing an indoor pool at the facility.
At the time the master plan was announced, Dubbo Regional mayor Ben Shields said he wanted to emphasis the master plan did not mean there would be instant changes at the pool.
“This master plan isn’t a green light to say ‘let’s just go and build it’ what it certainly is is doing the planning works behind this new pool to show exactly what we need, what it would cost, and the kind of service it would be proving to the community,” Cr Shields said.
The master plan would also allow council to apply for grant funding from the government, he said.
The cost to construct a playground at Brocklehurst is still being finalised but it’s expected to get funding under the December quarterly budget review.
