The collective group have raised a massive $9000 for Rural Aid’s Buy a Bale Campaign.
In the coming weeks the funds will be used to send a full semi-trailer of hay to a farming community in need.
Alongside collecting gold coin donations in their reception, The Aberdeen Motel hosted a Sausage Sizzle Saturday to bring the Dubbo community together to help Southern Cross Motel Group smash its goals and raise the much needed funds.
“We are so appreciative of the enthusiasm and support people showed for the initiative during the month,” Aberdeen Motel Dubbo property manager Tina Kiker said.

“It is an honour to work directly with our Dubbo community to make a difference.”
Over the last few months alone, Rural Aid have used donations big and small to provide feed, food, fuel and support to hundreds of farms and families.
