A 16-year-old person has been charged with two counts of aggravated break and enters and one count of stealing a motor vehicle.
Orana Mid-Western Police District crime coordinator Sergeant Adam Wood said the first offence occurred on February 26.
Sergeant Wood said police alleged the young person – in company with another person known to police – broke the glass door of a Macquarie Street business.
“Police allege property to the value of $230 was stolen,” Sergeant Wood said.
“Police allege on October 17 the person conducted a further aggravated break and enter offence at a Wingewarra Street business.”
He said police believe the young person, in company with others, stole a vehicle from a business in South Dubbo on Monday, October 29 at 9.20pm.
“That golf buggie was later located at a Alcheringa Street address,” Sergeant Wood said.
“It was recovered there for forensic examination.
“The young person was placed under arrest on November 1 at a place in Baird Drive and taken to Dubbo Police Station.”
