Orana Mid-Western Police District crime coordinator Sergeant Adam Wood said the man was charged with one count of intentionally recording an intimate image without consent under Section 91P of the Crimes Act.
“Police will allege about 11am on November 1, two female victims were using the shower facilities at the Sandy Beach amenity building,” Sergeant Wood said.
“We allege that while they were using those facilities he used his mobile phone to record the actions of the victims in the shower.
“Upon realising they were being recorded they contacted police and the accused was arrested at Sandy Beach with the assistance of members of the community identifying him.”
The man was arrested and taken to Dubbo Police Station.
