There was no cricket in Dubbo or in the Lachlan Premier League on the weekend but, across the rest of the zone, there were still some pretty handy efforts out in the middle, namely with the bat.
Cavaliers’ chalked up a mammoth 4-388 at Wade Park, off just 63 overs to set up a whopping lead over premiers Orange City.
Ryan Kurtz and Kaleb Cook put on an opening stand of 164 before Cook then combined with first drop Bailey Ferguson to add a further 127 to the total to effectively wipe a Warriors victory out of the equation on day one, the latter pair chalking up their maiden first grade tons.
