Prospective vendors are reminded that the next goat sale for Dubbo is scheduled for Tuesday, November 13 at the Troy Complex.
Most Dubbo Agents are involved in these sales if their individual numbers warrant their participation, so select your agent of choice.
The physical goat market is currently yielding great returns and a good result on the day is almost assured.
Vendors are reminded to advise their chosen agent well in advance of the sale date of their numbers and have their tagging and paperwork spot-on.

The farmers group claims that the backlog of live export sheep in Western Australia stands at something like 500,000 head or better.

Certainly, sitting here in NSW, the writer has no idea which side of the discussion is in the right but with two powerful lobby groups facing-off the end result could be drawn out and expensive for all involved.
The farmers say that conditions are being improved all the time and the RSPCA say not enough is being done.
Recently the Minster for Agriculture Mr David Littleproud has accepted the report handed down on this matter and has come out and said the 31 components of the report will be implemented by his department.
It remains to be seen if this strategy will appease the warring factions.

In a perfect world Roger Fletcher of Fletcher International has got it correct when he has so often in the past said we should send all our production overseas after we have fully value added.
This scenario would increase employment, enhance rural economies and deliver the greatest number of dollars from our sheep and cattle.
To many, the rain event of two to three weeks ago is now a fading memory. Dubbo agents had three Thursday Cattle sales between 1300 and 1900 head. For Thursday, November 1 with basically no follow-up rain the centre has drawn for 4440 cattle a doubling of numbers.
