Brow Couture was the winner of the CBD category in the Dubbo Regional Council royal shopfront competition, and Cakes by Amy Rutherford took out the honours for best outside the CBD.
Dubbo mayor Ben Shields said he would like to thank everyone who took part in the competition.
“We had a great response from businesses,” he said.
“A lot of people went to a great deal of effort to get their shops looking regal and it made it very tough for my fellow judges and I to find a winner.
“...Congratulations to both winners, who will receive $1000 from Dubbo Regional Council to spend upgrading the facades of their shops.
“Both shops looked fantastic.”
With the royal visit now a fond memory, attention has started turning to the next big date.
“To anyone who didn’t win this time, I would encourage them to start thinking about the Christmas shopfront competition for the Dubbo and Wellington CBDs,” Cr Shields said.
