Camp Quality’s esCarpade isn't a race or a rally - it's a party with a purpose on wheels, because it aims to raise life changing funds for children impacted by cancer.
The annual event saw participants travel through the central west before making their way to Wagga Wagga on October 27.
This year’s event was Marcus Hughes’ fourth time participating in the seven-day outback motoring spectacular.
Marcus first got involved in the esCarpade in 2015.

That year was the 10 year anniversary of the passing of his son, Daniel, who died at just seven-years-old after losing a battle with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia.
Marcus said the Camp Quality children, like Daniel, touch a lot of peoples lives and show incredible resilience.
“He was focused in the moment, with joy, unconditional love and a positive attitude, regardless of the circumstances,” Marcus said of Daniel.
“As a result, he touched everyone he came in contact with.”
When asked how it felt driving through towns and seeing locals cheer you on, Marcus said they “love that side” of the drive.
Over three in five (61 per cent) of Australian children diagnosed with cancer are supported by Camp Quality programs and services.
But the goal is to reach them all. Fundraisers like esCarpade are crucial in involving the community and raising much needed funds for Camp Quality to reach more children across the country.
