AN INVESTIGATION has commenced after an amount of fuel and a UHF radio were stolen from a property west of Dubbo.

Orana Mid-Western Police District officers were called to a property at Dandaloo following reports of the theft.
“Between 11.50pm on Friday October 19 and 9am on Tuesday October 23, 350 litres of diesel was stolen from the fuel tank of a loader on a local property,” a police report posted to Facebook stated.
“The offender/s also entered the cab of the loader and stole a GME TX 3500 UHF radio.
“The loader was parked about 500 metres into a paddock off Tyrie Road, Dandaloo.”
Police will also allege that the offender/s damaged a fence about two kilometres from the intersection of Tyrie and Jamea roads, Dandaloo.
“The tyre tracks were seen travelling into the victim’s property directly to the loader,” the report states.
Orana Mid-Western Police District police officers have urged anyone with information in relation to this crime or illegal activities in the Trangie and Dandaloo areas please contact your local police station or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
“Please help us tackle rural crime, we can’t do it without your help,” police stated.
