NSW Police from the Orana Mid-Western Police District were called to a supermarket in Coonamble last month following reports of a robbery,
“About 7.20pm on Tuesday September 25, 2018, a 37-year-old man entered a supermarket on Aberford Street, Coonamble,” a report from police stated.
“The man allegedly threatened the attendant with a knife, before taking cash and leaving the store.”
Officers from Orana-Mid Western Police District were notified and attended the scene.
“Following inquires, about 4.20pm yesterday [Tuesday, September 23], police arrested a 37-year-old man on Castlereagh Street, Coonamble,” the report continued.
“He was taken to Coonamble Police Station and charged with robbery while armed with offensive weapon.
“He was refused bail to appear at Dubbo Local Court today [Wednesday, October 24).”
