Jack Ramon will will make his professional debut at Saturday night’s Professional Bull Riders (PBR) Monster Energy Tour: Dubbo Invitational.
Ramon will be somewhat of a hometown hope at the event, the first-time rider hailing from Gilgandra.
The youngster will gain a huge amount of experience from not only the ride, but watching some of his rivals in action.
The top five ranked riders on the current Australian standings have been confirmed to compete at Dubbo Shwoground.
The number one ranked Aaron Kleier will be in action, as well perennial Australian title contender Cliff Richardson, 2015 PBR Australia Champion Fraser Babbington, 2016 PBR Australian title holder Cody Heffernan and Queensland pocket rocket Jason Mara.
The action-packed night sees 22 riders compete initially, with the 14 top riders moving through to the second round. From there, the best move through to the championship round where a winner will be crowned.
The Cowboys taking part will be up against bulls from seven different stock contractors from across New South Wales, and one from Queensland.
There’s plenty of reason to perform, with this year’s PBR title race proving an intense one. Twenty-year-old Queensland sensation Kleier has led all year after a breakout 2017 campaign.
Action starts at 7pm with some tickets to be available at the gate.
