The young royalist is on her way to Dubbo in the hope of seeing the Duke and Duchess of Sussex when they arrive in town on Wednesday.
Lily’s mother Kate said her daughter spent a weekend at her poppy Glenn’s place when the Royal wedding was on television.
“They watched the wedding and Lil was transfixed. The next morning as my dad was lighting the fire, Lil turned on the TV and there was a repeat so she sat and watched it again.”
When her mother returned, all Lily could talk about was the wedding and the couple.
Lily’s, Meghan inspired ‘wedding’ dress came from her neighbour, who promised to make it for her before she went away.
“Our neighbours, basically adopted grandparents, go away for winter and before they left, Brenda [Wigget] promised Lil a dress like Meghan’s.
“Every time over the three months we spoke with Brenda, she was reminded she had a dress to make.
“Brenda arrived home and was put to task, meanwhile another friend has given us some tulle and I’ve purchased a tiara.”
Lily now wears her dress to daycare and when they go shopping, and will bring and wear it when they come to Dubbo.
Lily will visit Dubbo with her poppy Glenn this week for a few days in the hope to catch a glimpse of her idol and her husband, Prince Harry.
