Police were told a Toyota Prado containing nine people travelled to a property off Edgell Lane, near Ulan Road, Buckaroo, shortly after 1pm.
Their failure to return raised concerns for their welfare later that afternoon.
The car, which appeared to have rolled a number of times, was located by a neighbouring landowner in a paddock about 3.15pm.
One of the nine teenage girls was ejected from the vehicle and was found with life-threatening injuries lying near the vehicle.
The 14-year-old girl was airlifted to Westmead Children’s Hospital and remains in a critical condition.
The other eight occupants managed to escape the vehicle when it came to a rest and all suffered varying degrees of injuries, none of which are life threatening.
