The march, expected to attract hundreds of people including visitors to the city, is being organised by the Central West Rainbow Alliance.
Alliance president Nic Steepe said the rhino’s transformation and the installation of lights that are “all colours of the rainbow” in Macquarie Street were a reminder of the looming event.
Dubbo Regional Council has again provided the funding to dress the rhino for the march.
