This week we have Sam Fisher, who is the construction site manager at Maas Group Family Properties.
MS: Can you tell me a bit about yourself. Have you always lived in Dubbo?
SF: Yes I have always lived in Dubbo.
MS: What is your trade and how you got into that career?
SF: I am a builder, when I finished year 12 I went around Dubbo talking to the builders looking for an apprenticeship.
Brad Acheson took me on and I did my whole apprenticeship with him and worked for him for nearly 10 years then I got a job with Maas group family properties as the construction manager.
MS: How did it feel to be nominated for ‘Dubbo's Favourite Tradie’ in this year's Rhino Awards?
SF: It was very unexpected I was quite surprised.
MS: What would it mean to you if you won ‘Dubbo's Favourite Tradie’?
SF: It would be pretty cool and quite an achievement to take it out because of the guys I’m up against.
