As soon as owners Mandy and Nelson Kelly found out about the visit they contacted Mick Frasier from Signvision to make the display.
“We’re just fans of the royals, we were just really happy when we found out they were coming,” Ms Kelly said.
“I went and saw Nick Fraser from Sign vision and said we wanted to created the Buckingham palace balcony.. they did it basically overnight for us.
“It’s the only castle in town.”
Ms Kelly said customer feedback about the display had been positive.
“Everyone loves it, we’ve had a few customers talk to us about it, they think it’s wonderful.”
Ms Kelly said she hoped the visit would be big for business in Dubbo.
“We thought during the week they’re here we might put on a royal menu, we might do something special like ‘steak Diana’ or ‘Windsor wedges’ or something just to have a bit of fun with it.

Castlereagh Hotel manager Rhiannon Chapman said the display had drawn a lot of excitement.
“We put it up to excite the town with the royals coming.
“The royal visit has generated a lot of excitement, its drawn a lot of excitement to not only the town, but our hotel.
“They’re excited we have put so much effort into it.
“I think it will impact the business in a sense we will have more people coming to the town and the business hopefully, we’ve also got a stand-out piece, the display.”
