The side, which features players from Dubbo, Wellington, Narromine, Parkes, Forbes, Gilgandra and Cowra had a decisive 30-0 win over the Newcastle Emus on Friday, before keeping competition favourites Redfern All Blacks scoreless in their afternoon clash.
That was a hard-fought match, coach Ray Packham said, between two teams with strong girls and tough forward packs.
“Our fellas just played really good, disciplined football that got them over the line,” he said.
Peckham, assistant coach Brad Dwyer and manager Rebekah Mealey couldn’t have been more proud.
“It grows each fella’s heart,” Peckham said.
“I tell them to play with a lot of heart and pride in the jumper they put on and they showed that pride 110 per cent.”
Now in it’s seventh year, the Wiradjuri United club also fields sides in the under 15s and 17s.
It grows each fella’s heart.

Peckham said the club was formed to give players from across the Three Rivers region the chance to play in the Knockout.
“It’s been a great day with families getting out and watching their loved ones play,” he said.
Wiradjuri United’s semi-final starts at 9am on Monday.
