Although the average age of the singers might only be 23, that doesn’t stop them from belting out the classic tunes of the 60s and 70s.

The Vallies are an all-singing and all-dancing tribute band to the music of Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons.
They will be performing in Dubbo on November 3 at the Dubbo Regional Theatre and Convention Centre.
Some of the hit songs they sing include ‘Oh what a night’, ‘Sherry’ and ‘Walk like a man’.
But what separates them from other cover artists is they pay tribute to other boy bands of those eras.

“So not only do we sing Motown from the Temptations or Drifters, but rock and roll (bands) like the Righteous Brothers, the Beatles and Johnny O’Keefe,” The Vallies singer Robert Jeffrey said.
As well as singing these harmonious tunes during the show, the four dance.
“It’s a great show… but we’re pretty tired at the end of it (because of the dancing),” Mr Jeffrey laughed.
No stranger to musical theatre industry, Mr Jeffrey started the band in 2016.
Before that he lived and worked in the United Kingdom where he got an eye opening experience to the music scene.
He said the UK cast and crew include notions of their own culture in the show.
“In the same token I’ve taken it in our show. We don’t impersonate (the singers). We have four Australian guys.. we’re larrikins,” he said.
“We’re not losing a sense of identity even though we’re playing other peoples music.”
Mr Jeffrey said all four singers are originally from Sydney, with some of the band members from Wollongong.
“We started from humble beginnings… it’s taken a little time to do the larger venues like the Dubbo Regional Theatre and Convention Centre in Dubbo,” he said.

Mr Jeffrey, who sing in The Vallies with Greg Robinson, Matt Vale and Lachie Dearing, said they are getting so much work, but they are all so grateful for the jobs they get.
“We appreciate it… we wan’t to work, so we’ll put in the work,” he said.
They have even got a great fan base in Sydney, with some fans heading to everyone of their shows to support them.
“It’s so great to see local audiences wanting to see Aussie guys up there,” Mr Jeffrey said.
