The film will show on October 19, the opening night of a weekend of the iconic cinema experience.
The classic thriller and the science fiction adventure comedy will show on October 20 and 21 respectively.
The Macquarie Credit Union DREAM Festival and the operators of Westview Drive-In formed a partnership to include drive-in movies on this year’s festival program.
Festival chairwoman Anne Field on Tuesday reported of ‘excellent sales’ across all movies.
The pop-up event can have 250 cars at each session, due to traffic restrictions.
Mrs Field encouraged people to make the most of the occasion and the whole festival program.
“For those who miss out on tickets, DREAM has been told the crew at Westview Drive-In are currently looking at funding opportunities to open it again sometime in the future; although until funding is found, the gates will unfortunately have to remain closed and the projector turned off,” she said.
“We really hope people will enjoy the drive-in experience.
“It’s one of very few that are functioning in Australia at the moment, and it appears that many people will be travelling to go to the drive-in, and the festival in general.”
