The club held its 2018/2019 season opening event at Ollie Robins Oval on Sunday September 23 in the form of a Duathlon race which is a run, a ride and a run event.
There were 30 competitors who raced over three different courses in fantastic conditions, with some traveling from regional areas to compete.
Winner of the Short Course was Bayden Lyons with a time of 22 minutes and 35 seconds
Winner of the Medium Course for Males was Tim Barnes with a time of 30 minutes and 6 seconds, for Females Sarah Bell with a time of 33 Minutes and 2 Seconds.
Winner of the Long course for Males was Brendan Davies with a time of 46 Minutes and 7 Seconds, for Females Julia Mannix with a time of 50 Minutes and 3 Seconds.
All competitors and volunteers celebrated after the race with a barbeque, fruit salad and ice cream.
