About 150 people revelled in the sunshine at Elston Park, with entertainment by Pete and Shane Riley, a free barbecue and a jumping castle and face-painting for the kids.
Aboriginal Ability Links’ Kerryann Stanley said the day had benefits for disability service providers and the community.
“Our job is to bring people in, see what their goals are and then we link them up with other services,” she said.
“We can see what Uniting are doing, what NSW Ability Links are doing, because we don’t want to double up on services – we want to complement each other.”
