Geurie Masonic Lodge Alan Stuart SW Brother Warren Williams said members of the Masonic Lodge decided to collect non perishable food, toiletries, cleaning products and gift vouchers to contribute to the need for feed campaign.
“We have collected a ute full of products and vouchers that we are more than happy to donate to help local families impacted by the drought,” Mr Williams said.
“We know the need for feed campaign was originally for feed for the animals but we heard the campaign by the local radio station wanted to help out and we got on board because it provides for the people and that’s what we do. It depends on how long the drought goes on for but our intention is to continue to help out with measures like this until the drought breaks.”
