The Dubbo trio will join a strong NSW squad which will take on the nations best under-15 and under-17 riders over three days.
The riders will take on all three events at the championships, with the individual time trial, road race and criterium national titles up for grabs.
Dubbo Cycle Club’s Janette Eather will also join the NSW squad for the week in her role as an assistant manager. Kurt Eather is ramping up his preparations for the 2018 Oceania Track Championships to be held in Adelaide in mid-October.
The speedy youngster had a break out season on the road, taking out the Keegan Downes Memorial Sundowner Handicap among several other big race victories and will look to take that succes into this years Track season.
Dubbo Cycle Club will have a healthy representation at this weekends NSW Masters State Road Championships at Orange.
Jason Farr, Tim Hines, Darrell Wheeler, Jeff Sargent, Simone Grounds and Heather Ticehurst will contest the event which also includes an individual time trial, road race and criterium.
Farr and Hines will take on the men’s masters three division, while the evergreen Wheeler will be a definite medal chance in men’s master nine division.
Grounds will be the marked rider and deserved favorite across all three women’s division three events which she will contest.
