Last month the team organised a trivia night for the community.
Rachel and the Gilgandra community kindly raised $1,200.
Rachel is the Local Nurse Audiometrist who donates three days a term to provide hearing testing in our bus for Gilgandra schools.
The Hear Our Heart Ear Bus Project provides free ear health education, targeted hearing testing and free access to ear specialists to children in Dubbo and the surrounding districts.
The group is a non for profit and is not government funded, with funding provided through donations and grants to the project.
The mobile Health/Education clinic promotes awareness of ear diseases as well as diagnose and treat children’s ear health problems at their school.
The ear bus covers a number of towns in Western NSW.
