Macquarie Conservatorium’s open day on Sunday is a chance to “find out what you might like to do in music”, says its director Vivienne Winther.

The event from 1pm will be jam-packed with performances by students playing a variety of instruments and singing. “Open day also features come and try sessions where anyone can have a go at making music,” Ms Winther said.
Information about the conservatorium’s tuition programs and music activities will be distributed on the day. Visitors will be be able to buy refreshments as they take in the music, atmosphere and opportunities.
Each week more than 800 children, teenagers and adults take part in music activities at the conservatorium at 72 Bultje Street.
