Orana Mid-Western police officers have arrested and charged 31 people across the district over the weekend, 15 of which were in Dubbo.

The alleged offences ranged from domestic violence, possession of knives, resisting police, break and enter and robberies and possession of house breaking implements.
A 12-year-old teenager was arrested and charged for an alleged break and enter of a house in Coonamble on 11pm on Friday. The young person was disturbed by the victim who contacted police. The teenager appeared in Dubbo Local Court on September 10.
In a separate incident a 39-year-old Dubbo woman was arrested and charged for being in possession of housebreaking implements.
Police searched a woman in O’Donnell Street at about 11.40pm on Sunday and found her to be in possession of a screwdriver and other implements, which police allege were capable of being used to break into a car or house. The woman was refused bail to appear at Dubbo Local court on Monday.
Police are also investigating two separate incidents of tyre slashing over the weekend in Gulgong and have appealed for anyone with information to come forward.
Orana Mid-Western Police District Sergeant Adam Wood said police “continued to target persons wanting to engage in criminal activity”.
Over the weekend police also attended a licensed premises in Dubbo and arrested a 21-year-old female after she allegedly broke a glass door by kicking it and two glass windows while she was attempting to seek entry after hours into the premises. She was charged with entering enclosed lands without consent, two counts of malicious damage and is due to appear at Dubbo Local Court on October 24.
“We are driving proactivity, identifying offenders prior to [them] committing serious crimes and protecting victims,” Sergeant Wood said.
