As of Monday morning, 12.1 per cent of the state has been declared in intense drought, 55.9 per cent in drought and 31.5 as drought-affected.
Rain was recorded across the entire region on Friday with an evening thunderstorm bringing heavy rain and strong winds.

The most rain was received in Lithgow with 28.4mm recorded from Friday to Sunday by the Bureau of Meteorology.
Good rainfall was also recorded in Bathurst with 21mm received on Friday and Saturday, while Orange received 19.6mm on Friday.
Oberon received rain from Friday to Sunday, with a total of 18.2mm, while Mudgee received 15.8mm from Friday to Saturday.
Other locations also received rain, including: Wellington (12.4mm), Parkes (10.8mm), Young (8mm), Grenfell (7.6mm), Dubbo (5.4mm), Cowra (3.4mm), Forbes (3mm) and Nyngan (1mm).
A sunny week is predicted in most locations across the region.
