Australia’s the Wolfe Brothers have brought in two special guests Canada’s Gord Bamford and Jody Direen from New Zealand.
They will perform at the Dubbo Regional Theatre and Convention Centre as part of the ‘Country Heart’ tour.
The Wolfe Brothers, which consists of Tom Wolfe, Nick Wolfe and Brodie Rainbird have known one another for years.
“We fell in love with music together on the school bus,” Tom said.

The last time the Wolfe Brothers were in Dubbo they had just finished up at Tamworth for the annual Country Music Festival and were heading home to Tasmania.
Unfortunately they broke down but luckily a local welder was able to give them a hand in fixing their trailer, allowing them to be on their way home.
“He saved the day,” Tom said of the local welder.
The generosity of country people, who Tom described as “salt of the earth”, is what makes a town, and is one of the reasons why they were looking forward to coming back to the city.
The tour coincides with the Wolf Brothers newest album of the same name, and Tom said it was their most honest and real album to date.
“Our style is modern country music with pop and rock influences… but we never get too bogged down in genres,” he said.
“We just try to write the best songs that are as real and honest as possible.”

He said Dubbo audiences can expect a night full of laughter and tears.
“Our job is to make sure everyone has a good time.. and give people the best night possible,” Tom said.
The Wolf Brothers have been performing together for about 10 years, playing in pubs and clubs around Tasmania, but their big break didn’t come until 2012 when they won runner-up on the television show Australia’s Got Talent.
Tom said after years of playing, they were “ready to roll” by the time they went on the reality talent program.
“So when the show came we were able to take the opportunity,” he said.
Since then The Wolfe Brothers have built up quite an impressive resume.
Not only have they won an accolade of Country Music Channel (CMC) awards, but they’ve toured the United States and have performed and recorded songs with their idol and good friend Lee Kernaghan.
Tom described their life as a constant tour, but he wouldn’t have it any other way.

After the Country Heart tour wraps up the Wolfe Brothers will do a few shows with Lee at the end of the year.
“Lee has been fantastic, just incredible to us. He’s always encouraging us to push ourselves,” Tom said.
