The Palmdale Group will cover all costs for a morning tea and sausage sizzle, which will be held from 8am to noon, for visitors to the site.
Palmdale Group general manager Lee Caddis said many people find comfort in visiting a memorial site at special times of year, such as Father’s Day.
“Fathers Day is one of the park’s busiest days of the year. It is a time when visitors to the park can relax and enjoy a special day in a beautiful setting.”
The memorial is a place to remain symbolically, emotionally and spiritually connected to loved ones.
The complimentary sausage sizzle, tea and coffee will be held in the tranquil surroundings of the gardens on September 2.
