A yummy bake sale and raffle set up outside the post office on Talbragar Street has raised much needed funds for local farmers.

The team at Gallagher Insurance Brokers perfected their baking skills and set up the stall on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday morning.

A raffle was held in conjunction with the cake sales, with prizes donated by local Dubbo businesses.

All monies raised from the sale and the raffle went towards the Buy a Bale campaign to assist farmers hit by the drought in the region.

For anyone who stopped by and purchased the raffle ticket, the winner will be drawn at 10am on August 31, in the branch and announced via video on the Gallagher Dubbo Facebook page.

Winners will also be contacted by phone.
