The students performed their rain dance on Wednesday. It has since been viewed more than 15,000 on the Daily Liberal’s social media accounts.
The video has also been shared by people from as far as the United States.
But even more exciting, the rain dance worked. About 25 millilitres of rain has fallen on Dubbo since Friday, according to the Bureau of Meteorology.
Dubbo Pubic School performed their rain dance as part of a fundraising day that encouraged the students to dress like a farmer.
Money raised from donations on the day, as well as from a silent auction of paintings the kindergarten students created, will go to Rural Aid and the Coonamble Rain Dance.
