Orana Mid-Western Police District were out in force across the Friday to Sunday period, with 19 arrests made across the district. Twelve of the arrests were made in Dubbo for various offences.

The 12 persons were in police custody relating to various offences including aggravated break and enter, stealings, domestic assaults, possession of prohibited drugs and a knife and two warrant offenders.
Orana Mid-Western Police District Sergeant Adam Wood said police entered a licensed premises in the early hours of the morning on Sunday.
A 22-year-old man was arrested following his failure to leave a licensed premises in Dubbo local CBD.
The male was removed from the establishment by security and despite multiple attempts to get him to leave, he failed to do so.
Police made multiple requests for him to leave the vicinity at least 50 metres from the premises and despite repeated directions to move on, he stayed.
The accused pushed police and was placed under arrest for assault and continued to resist efforts.
He was taken to Dubbo Police Station were he was charged and with causing damage to police cell.
He was bail refused by police and due to re appear at Dubbo Local Court on August 29.
“Police will continue to ensure persons are complying with legislation, people are required to move at least 50 metres from the premises otherwise you may be committing an offence.
We wont tolerate violence or intoxication in the Dubbo CBD.
