Despite three coaches running to six towns across the central west, just 20 pre-schoolers from Trangie and one person from Narromine got on one Langley’s coach.
On its website, the Daily Liberal, reported the pickup and drop-off locations.
Channel Nine put the call out to various media channels to help spread the message.
A Langley’s bus driver told the Daily Liberal that upon arriving in one of the towns to pick up locals, one resident told them that no-one had heard about the free bus trip.
The pickup locations were:
The Trangie Railway Station, the Narromine Railway Station, the Tullamore Hotel, the Tomingley Hotel, the Gulargambone Cafe 2828 and the Gilgandra Visitors Centre.
