About 2.30am on Sunday morning Orana Mid-Western Police were called to a large crowd of people allegedly involved in a brawl on Macquarie Street.
Police arrived on scene and separated a number of persons, moving them on and away from each other.
A 22-year-old Dubbo woman refused to move on and began to abuse not only people in the street but also threatened and abused police in attempting to move on the crowd.
After numerous warnings the female continued to use offensive language to onlookers and police.
The female was arrested and taken to Dubbo Police Station where her identity was confirmed before she was released pending a Criminal Infringement Notice being issued.
