The emergency call out was received just after 6.30am on Wednesday and the blaze is located near the corner of Brisbane Street and Newell Highway.
There were reports that the fire could be seen from Brisbane Street.
Fire and Rescue NSW (FRNSW) Dubbo crews remain on scene.

House fire in Bathurst
Meanwhile FRNSW crews from Bathurst were called to a house fire in Kelso on Tuesday at 7.35pm following reports of a blaze in the property’s kitchen.
Station officer Chris Sanders said a female occupant and her teenage son were treated on scene for smoke inhalation.
He said the woman used a fire blanket that she had in her home to partially extinguish the blaze before the crew’s arrival.
