A rejuvenated John Cohen shot the match of his life taking first place with a massive 613 (379, 234). That’s a brilliant effort John and just goes to show no matter what your limitations, skill will always shine through. Second place went to Brett Pengilley who dented his handicap with 610 (310, 300). Great effort Brett. Third went to the ever-improving Jordan Lamplough who returned a score of 595 (385, 210). Other results in no particular order were Peter Howell 534 (545, 29), Mal Bootle 515 (386, 129), Helen Lord 575 (500, 75), Peter Lord 504 (360, 144), Jon Bohan 482 (351, 131), John Salter 406 (309, 97), Joan Boyle 457 (262, 195), Bob O’Keefe 418 (355, 63), Glen Kiem 551 (443, 108), Charlie Higgs 556 (461, 95) and Debbie Kiem 580 (445, 135). There are some mighty fine scores in that bunch.
Many thanks to the great Wazoo Johnson for acting as Range Officer once again.
And big thanks from me personally for sending the scores through to me every week so I can write up this very informative news sheet.
Our club is winding up for its biggest event of the year, the Western Plains ISSF Championships, to be held on the first weekend in September. Please come out and lend a hand. Mornings are pretty busy and that’s when we need you the most. It’s not hard to do if we have a lot of volunteers on hand.
And don’t forget our AGM/Birthday Cake celebrations on 19 August. Come along and strike a blow for your club.
Have a great week.
