Tony Taro ($1.10) was sent out at ludicrously short odds for the Ladbrokes Multimaker Stakes (307 metres) and it was easy to see why when the boxes opened.
Running out from box one against a non-graded field Tony Taro blew out to a four length lead before the bend.
At that point it became a question of how big his winning margin would be.
Kennelmate Queen Taro and Bucking Bull led the chasing pack but the gap remained steady onto the home straight.
Eyes turned to the clock as Tony Taro passed the winning post, producing a scorching 17.71 second time.
Tony Taro secured win number 24 from his 52nd start and his fifth success in a row.
Victory tipped Tony Taro’s lifetime winnings above $24,000.
Queen Taro ($7.40) secured the 1-2 finish for winning trainer Daniel Foley ahead of Dantelah ($25.10).

Winning trainer Foley, of Geurie, continues to be amazed by his dog’s ability.
“That’s five in a row now. He’s been a model of consistency all the way through his career. Everyone always wants to have a dog like this,” he said.
“He’s nearly at a 50 per cent strike rate from over 50 starts and that’s very hard to do.”
Tony Taro’s fastest winning time at Bathurst over the 307m distance remains a 17.55 from October last year.
Foley came close to adding to his success when Joan Taro and Willy Taro found runner-up finishes on Monday.
