Police have described him as being Aboriginal in appearance, about 170cm tall with a thin build and black hair.
Police have said the man is a high profile target and believe he could assist them with other matters under investigation.
"We appeal for public assistance in finding Duane Johnson. He has been evading us for some weeks now but believe he is still frequenting the Dubbo and Narromine areas,” Inspector Dan Skelly said.
“We seem to be one step behind him as we continue to visit addresses around the area endeavouring to arrest him. We ask the community to be on the look-out for him and if anybody sees him not to approach him but to give us a call at Dubbo Police Station on 68831599, or Crime Stoppers on 1800333000.
"We have pro-active task force and general duties police out at different hours of the day so none of the crooks can identify any shift patterns and therefore can expect to get a tap on the shoulder at anytime. We are serious about keeping our community safe and intend to use any lawful tactics we can to achieve that outcome," Inspector Skelly said.
