Dugald Saunders, Jillian Kilby and Andrew McKay will battle it out to become the NSW Nationals Candidate for the Dubbo Electorate at next year's State Election.
Dubbo National Party electorate council chair Mike Blake said a meeting to vote on which of the three will become the Dubbo candidate will be held on Saturday, August 25.

Mr Blake said Dugald Saunders has more than 27 years' experience in radio and communications, including the past 10 years as breakfast/mornings presenter at ABC Western Plains in Dubbo.
“Dugald Saunders is a proud son of Western NSW,” he said.
“He grew up on farms around Mendooran and after years in the city - including commentating Australian golds at the Sydney Olympics - he came home with the family in 2006. Horses, chooks and cows keep the family - Dugald, his wife Karen and daughters Georgie and Charlie - busy when he's not talking to the people of the region every week morning.
“Dugald is ready to represent the Dubbo Electorate.”

Mr Blake said Jillian Kilby is one of Dubbo's rising stars.
“Jillian is just as home on the farm as she is in the office, where she works as a civil engineer,” he said.
“She grew up on a farm northwest of Coonamble and has represented the west as the 2006 The Land Sydney Royal Easter Showgirl, the 2010 Engineers Australia Young Professional Engineer of the Year, the Sydney University Young Alumni of the Year and the 2018 NSW/ACT Rural Woman of the Year.
“Jillian would like to go far, together with the Party and its local membership.”
Mr Blake said Andrew McKay, who was born and raised in Dubbo, is a proud and energetic local.
“Andrew has run the London Marathon twice, swam the English Channel in a relay for a disability charity and founded Zoo2Zoo (Taronga to Dubbo Western Plains Zoo) bike rides in 2016 which has raised more than $1 million for the Black Dog Institute,” he said.
“In 2010 Andrew was awarded the Dubbo Day Award for services to the community and the Premiers Award in 2011 for services to the Dubbo Community. He is also involved in Rotary, The Dream Festival and the Dubbo Stampede. Andrew McKay is a very active member of the community.
“Grassroots members will get a say on August 25 on which of these fine members will represent them in Parliament.”
