A self-described dominatrix found guilty of assaulting another woman at an adult event in Adelaide will not have a conviction recorded, and has ditched plans for an appeal.

Morgan Gabrielle Jaya Cox, 47, who uses the name Mistress Gabrielle in her performances, was last week found to have punched and placed Tracie Latham, known as Dragon Princess, in a headlock at the Kink Adelaide event in 2016.
In Adelaide Magistrates Court on Monday, magistrate Brett Dixon said he was satisfied the act was "impulsive and spontaneous" and Cox was unlikely to reoffend.
He placed her on a $500 good behaviour bond for the next 12 months.
Outside court, Cox maintained her innocence but said she has scrapped an initial plan to appeal the verdict.
"I was going to appeal the process but I have thrown so much money at this already, I'm not interested in going any further," she told AAP.
"They actually offered the same thing that I got today before we even went to court and I refused to take that settlement because I don't believe I did what they said I did.
"We ended up with the same thing anyway, so I'm disappointed that I spent so much money to get the same result."
Before sentencing, Craig Caldicott, for Cox, told the court she had been in the US and received a message her husband was sick in hospital.
She returned to Adelaide and spent three days with him before the adult event on the weekend.
Cox earlier said her alleged victim had harassed her throughout the event, where Cox had been scheduled to perform.
Ms Latham was working as a manager at the festival, which includes demonstrations of various activities and offers bondage equipment and other items for sale.
