The star Dubbo rider's strong form saw him best the Illawarra duo of Luke Britten and Jarrod Williams to record his third major feature race victory in the past month.

Lets not forget that in that month he also sustained a dislocated shoulder in a crash in the Gunnedah to Tamworth scratch race. 

Eather backed up his efforts in Sunday's Battle of the Bridges race at West Head, finishing second behind Cameron Scott, who was the winner of the 2018 National U23 Criterium in Ballarat earlier this year. 

In other news, Dubbo Cycle Club held its annual Road Club Championships on the weekend, with riders contesting the road race on the North Geurie course on Saturday and the individual time trial on the Wongarbon course on Sunday.

Cold and windy conditions made for two tough days of racing, particularly on Saturday on the testing North Geurie course.

Dylan Eather took out the A grade road race title over Danny Barber and Jason Farr, while Alex Russell pipped Simone Grounds to take the B-grade victory, with Darrell Wheeler in third.

Zara Fuller chalked up victory in the C grade road race over Trent Hines and Jeff Sargent, while Luke Beange won the D grade event over Jason Canobie.

Tim Hines set a blistering time to take the A grade individual time trial title on Sunday over Dylan Eathe and Danny Barber, as did Simone Grounds who dominated B grade to take the ITT win over Rod Mildner and visiting Victorian star junior Alex Jones.

Jeff Sargent was took strong in C grade to claim the title over Sarah Gordon and Julia Mannix, as Jason Canobie was the winner of D grade. 

Talents youngsters Danny Barber, Dylan Eather and Haylee, Zara and Zac Fuller will this weekend head to Sydney for the NSW Country Championships, which will be held at Sutherland.

Round 12 of the Dubbo City Toyota Road Racing Series will take place on Saturday with a 36km handicap.

Sign on for the event runs from 1pm to 1.45pm, with racing getting underway at 2pm. 

Junior Road Racing Next Weekend, Sunday, July 22 will be on the Sheraton Road Course.
