Energy efficient LED lighting has also been installed, as well as improved point-of-sale displays and store signage.
Anywhere between 50 to 80 people were on-site each day.
The main builders were Prime Build, but plenty of local tradespeople including tilers, painters and sign writers, also pitched in with the refurbishments.
ALDI area manger Katie Rogers said the renovations had gone “really well” and that everyone was looking forward to reopening the doors.
“I think when Dubbo residents first step in to the new store they’ll think “’wow’,” she said.
“It’s certainly more modern and is keeping up with the times.”
