The 2018 forum is a gathering of recreational fishers who are keen to make connections with like minded individuals, find out more about fish habitat projects, funding opportunities, and how recreational fishers are making a difference.
Dubbo’s Inland Waterways volunteer committee has been a long time supporter of the initiative, and everyone involved looks forward to sharing stories from the Macquarie Valley with likeminded anglers from right across the state.
A round table on community fundraising and the latest and greatest in aquatic science will again no doubt be hot topics of conversation, with so many individuals from right across the country now sharing a passion for river restoration.
Recreational fishers from across NSW and interstate will also join NSW DPI department staff, natural resource managers, scientists, and like-minded individuals to find out more about fish habitat, what’s being done to protect it, and to learn how recreational fishers are making a difference to support the sport they enjoy.
More information, and free tickets for the event are available at the NSW DPI website.
