Dubbo participant John Cook said he had has been involved with the group for about three years.
“It’s all good fun, it’s good music and a good crowd,” Mr Cook said.

He has played guitar for 40 years and said “people can be involved as much or as little as they like.”
“You can play whatever music you like, and come along whenever it suits. It’s about getting to see and know everyone over time, listening to music and getting better at performing,” Mr Cook said.
The association are also involved in various fundraisers throughout the year with their aim to promote country music and mentor newcomers to country music.
