Undoubtedly the Picnics, this year proudly sponsored by Warren’s Three Rivers Machinery, are the biggest social event for the entire region and there’s something available for everyone.

Whether it’s a passion for horse racing, a keen eye for fashion or just catching up with mates, this year promises to be one of the best yet. 

Those eager for the entertainment might be thinking what about me? Well Duck Creek have you covered with this year’s live entertainment starring Aussie rocker Shannon Noll.

President of the Duck Creek committee Rowen Cleaver said this year they are proud to be sponsoring Dolly’s Dream, helping to raise awareness about the serious and devastating impacts of bullying. 

“We are so proud to be fundraising for Dolly's Dream,” said Mr Cleaver. 

“We didn’t personally know Dolly, but she was just a normal bush girl like many of the young people that come to Duck Creek each year.”

To help raise money there is a raffle for a flight centre voucher, which will be drawn on the day by Shannon Noll, with all proceeds going to Dolly’s Dream.

If you’re all class and the day time event is more your scene, the Duck Pond is the place to be.

The Duck Creek Picnic Races luncheon is on from 12.30pm until 4.30pm offering a grazing table and gourmet lunch.

Get in early, tickets are $70 per person and include champagne, wine and full strength beer. 

For the punter there is a six race program, promising not to be lame.

And for the fashionista the highly coveted fashions on the field, this year sponsored by WIN Television, are not to be missed, with special guest judge, Nyngan designer Brigid McLaughlin.
